The HCCW creates, expands and diversifies small and Hispanic owned businesses in Wisconsin with a strong focus in the Milwaukee Metropolitan area. Advocating and promoting the business development of Hispanic and other small business through education, advocacy and networking is the mission we strongly adhere to. Our efforts support entrepreneurial enterprises that encourage and support job development which act as an economic catalyst. Since it’s inception in 1972, the cornerstone of the HCCW has been its contributions to the upward mobility of the Hispanic community.
Without a doubt, Hispanic businesses have emerged as the fastest growing segment in mainstream small markets. This surge enables the Hispanic entrepreneur to mature both economically and competitively with their respective business counterparts. The business support services provided by the HCCW are instrumental in improving the success rate of small and Hispanic owned businesses; ultimately creating unsubsidized jobs and raising the level of household income.
Aside from providing technical resources and fostering the economic exchange between the small business and corporate sectors, we also take great pride in being able to provide significant scholarships to college-bound Hispanics. Moreover, the HCCW also promotes a network for legitimate community issues and needs.
We are obviously proud of the unique role we have long played in connecting community with opportunity in commerce, education and employment. Yet we understand that ours is an on-going journey.
Thank you for taking this journey with us. The trust and confidence you place in us inspire us to work harder and more effectively every day. You have my thanks for your unwavering support of the award-winning HCCW!
