We are busy planning and orchestrating two back-to-back annual fundraisers.
The HCCW is proud to continue its tradition of celebrating
accomplished Hispanic women and addressing issues relevant to our upward mobility. The Salute to Hispanic Women
Conference & Luncheon is scheduled for Saturday, May 8th at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center.
The 9 am morning conference provides a supportive setting for women to interact with peers, hear meaningful presentations
designed to stimulate candid discussion and offers valuable
resources. Offered in both English and Spanish, this year’s
featured conference topic is “Coping With Stressful Situations” personal, professional and health. The health component will
focus on breast and cervical cancer.
Among this year’s accomplished women we have the honor of welcoming Marion Luna Brem as our noon luncheon keynote speaker. She is a nationally acclaimed speaker and author of “The 7 Greatest Truths About Successful Women.”
A popular event with Wisconsin’s Hispanic women, the Salute outreaches to our younger Hispanics, elected officials, small
business and corporate sectors along with the general public. All projections point to exceeding last year’s attendance of 453.
Scheduled for Sunday, June 20th, excitement is BREWing as the HCCW plans its annual Fiesta Tailgate at spectacular Miller Park. Commencing at 11 am, tailgate in a fiesta atmosphere, feast on authentic Mexican food while enjoying the sounds of live
Mariachi music, the special guest appearance of the Hispanic Brewer players and participate in our fabulous prize drawings
including the drawing to throw out the first pitch. The Fiesta then moves onto the stands to cheer on our Brewers to victory over the Minnesota Twins. Last year, 900 baseball aficionados joined us at our unique tailgate outing.
To assure the success of our two fundraisers we need YOUR
participation. Net proceeds benefit the HCCW Education Fund/Philip Arreola Scholarship program and other programs provided by the HCCW.
A profound gracias for your interest and anticipated support.
Adelante Juntos,

Maria Monreal-Cameron
