This year’s theme "Mental Health-The Unspoken Reality / Enfermedad Mental-Sufriendo En Silencio" covered various aspects of mental disease. The expert panelists and the keynote speaker set an amazing comfort level to openly and candidly discuss mental health issues. Based on survey feed-back this year’s Salute proved to be a valuable learning experience for all who attended.

The HCCW takes particular pride in this annual event that salutes Latina contributions to our community along with their passion for excellence and commitment to success. Their footprints and influence are vital to our continued upward mobility.

Excitement is BREWing for Saturday, June 27th as the HCCW hosts its annual FIESTA TAILGATE at spectacular Miller Park. Once again the HCCW Fiesta Tailgate will be held in conjunction with the Milwaukee Brewers "Cerveceros (Brewers) Day" - A tribute to Hispanic Baseball.

Commencing at 3 pm at Helfaer Field, this very unique tailgate outing is set in a fiesta atmosphere! Last year, 1200 baseball aficionados feasted on authentic Mexican food; quenched thirsts with Miller and/or Pepsi-Cola products; enjoyed live entertainment; applauded the featured appearance of Hispanic Brewer players; and experienced mucho, mucho mas!

This year, the Brewer vs. San Francisco Giants game promises to be a complete on-field Hispanic event! Our Brewers in their "Cerveceros" jerseys and the Giants sporting their "Gigantes" jerseys! Join us to cheer our Milwaukee "Cerveceors" to victory over the San Francisco "Gigantes".

We make every effort to properly plan and carefully orchestrate all HCCW events. However, to achieve successful events a strong demonstration of support through the active involvement of each HCCW member is essential. Please help to promote Fiesta Tailgate among family, friends and business colleagues via your in-house email!

In these challenging economic times your participation is a strong declaration of commitment to the important work of the HCCW.
