Mark your calendar! Milwaukee’s Hispanic Social Event of the Year is fast approaching. The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Wisconsin (HCCW) Annual Banquet is set for Saturday-January 19, 2008 at the Midwest Airlines Center.
This year’s theme “Building Today..Shaping Tomorrow” aptly
describes the on-going and determined progress of the HCCW and
Wisconsin’s Hispanic business community. Based on current business
and economic data, it is clear that Hispanic business owners have
come a long way. Equally clear is that they are destined to go much
farther. The success of today’s Hispanic business community must
shine brightly in order to pass it along to tomorrow’s business leaders.
A silent auction is held in conjunction with our annual gala. Although
business is the business of the HCCW we recognize that higher
education is the path to shaping tomorrow. Since 1993 the HCCW
Education Fund has awarded $405,240 in full and partial scholarships
to 80 young adults entering or completing their undergraduate
studies. Auction proceeds benefit the HCCW Education Fund/Philip
Arreola Scholarship Program.
We feature a Gift Certificate Tree as part of our silent auction. As
such, please consider donating a $25 - $50 gift certificate. Other
desired items include but are not limited to: products or services that
feature your business; collectibles; sports/entertainment packages,
etc…..We love donor creativity! Donation deadline: January 9, 2008.
We also ask your consideration in placing a full page ($350) or half
page ($175) ad in the banquet program. The Ad deadline is January 9, 2008. You may submit your ad in PDF / JPEG or TIFF format
via email to:
Our increasing small business ownership, our growing numbers of
college-educated young adults and our upward mobility within
corporate structures are all examples of how we are continuing to
shape this City, County and State. There is a ripple effect when forces
are joined – tomorrow is shaped!
On behalf of the award-winning HCCW, I extend a profound gracias
for your anticipated support. Together we will continue Building
Today to Shape Tomorrow. I look forward to seeing you at the
celebration!
