    The Triangle of Success

Although business is the business of the HCCW, we have placed a high priority on education. Financially assisting our undergraduate students is a positive step in ensuring that our community continues its positive transformation.

There is a direct correlation between what you learn and what you earn. The passport to success is higher education. The HCCW clearly recognizes that we cannot build the future for our youth but we can build our youth for the future.

Higher education is the primary key to unlocking the doors to opportunity and success. Our college-educated youth are the most decisive hope for the future and we all have a stake in their academic success. We must continue to invest in and to assist their upward mobility.

This award cycle represents a total of $286,500,00 awarded under the auspices of our higher-learning initiative. Since 1993, 25/$10k; 23/$1k; and 2/$4k in full scholarships along with $5,500.00 in partial scholarships have been awarded. While we take great pride in this accomplishment, we thank all participants of our fund raising events and direct contributors, large and small, who have partnered with us and generously provided the necessary resources to forge ahead with enthusiasm and resolve.

At the same time we congratulate this year's scholarship recipients who were selected from the outstanding field of worthy applicants. The HCCW applauds their commitment to scholastic excellence and community involvement and more importantly their determination to succeed.

The HCCW envisions a community, a country, and a world that will be, in ways great and small, transformed by a new generation of educated Hispanics.
