After graduation in December 2000 from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, I began my search for my first job in the "real world". I interviewed with many companies here in Milwaukee, with the help from the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Wisconsin.
I accepted a job offer in February 2001 with the Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Club as the Payroll and Scheduling Coordinator for the Event Services Department. I was on hand to witness the opening of Miller Park.
In December of 2001 a unique opportunity became available within the ballclub in the Community Relations Department. I am currently the Community Relations Coordinator. In this position I assist with special events, game activities and programs that involve player participation in the community. I am very proud to be a HCCW Scholarship Recipient, UWM Alumni and now a Milwaukee Brewer employee.
I would like to thank the Hispanic Chamber again for the assistance and support shown to me throughout my years at UWM.
