    ANNUAL GALA

    Expo Center At Potawatomi Bingo Casino

    January 23, 2010

    Billed as the Hispanic Social Event of the Year, this gala dinner provides the opportunity to network and celebrate Hispanic business success. Hundreds join the HCCW to celebrate accomplishments, to share in our pride and to experience the positive and healthy influence of Hispanic commerce.

    A silent auction, benefiting the HCCW Education Fund/Philip Arreola Scholarship Program and a cocktail/hors d’oeuvre reception initiates the festivities. A formal dinner and program featuring local dignitaries along with the presentation of the Hispanic Businesses, Corporation, and Government Advocate of the Year awards keeps the massive audience engaged. The evening concludes with dancing to live entertainment. Saturday - January 23,2010 - 20th GALA!


    SALUTE TO HISPANIC WOMEN CONFERENCE & LUNCHEON

    Established in 1989, the Salute provides a supportive setting for women to interact with peers, hear meaningful presentations designed to initiate candid discussion and offers valuable resources all to better assist upward mobility. The event also celebrates accomplished Latinas who have risen above barriers, triumphed over struggles and who eagerly share their experiences.

    A popular event with Wisconsin’s Hispanic women, the Salute outreaches to youth, elected officials, the small business and corporate sectors along with the general public. The Salute fuels dreams, inspires and motivates. Feelings of pride, confidence and optimism permeate the air and linger in spirit long after.


    FIESTA TAILGATE at MILLER PARK

    Held in conjunction with the Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Club’s “Cerveceros (Brewers) Day… A Tribute to Hispanic Baseball” featuring special attractions and honored guests.

    Always a HIT, the annual tailgate is set in a fiesta atmosphere where attendees feast on authentic Mexican food, quench thirsts with cold beverages while enjoying the sounds of live Mariachi music. Baseball aficionados are delighted with the special guest appearances of the Hispanic Brewer players and are also impressed with the fabulous array of raffle opportunities. Enjoy a tailgate “BREWing” with Hispanic flair! entertain clients, reward employees, gather family and friends for a day at spectacular Miller Park.

    Since 1993, the HCCW has rewarded academic excellence, extracurricular leadership, community service and a strong determination to succeed. As of June 2009 a total investment of $471,240 in significant scholarships has empowered our young Hispanics through higher education.

    The HCCW envisions a community, a country and a world that will be, in ways great and small, transformed by a new generation of educated Hispanics. Your investment gratefully accepted and appreciated.

    $10,000 and $1,000 scholarships awarded in donor’s name.

    The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Wisconsin (HCCW) has been determined a 501c3 tax exempt organization by the Internal Revenue Service. Grantors and contributors may rely on this determination in their funding considerations. 39-1293583
